| Flying Probe Tester since almost 20 Years |
With introduction of the "Flying Probe Tester" in the year 1987 the
flexible and innovative APT Series was established in Europe. In the
beginning the APT-2200 System was used exclusively for prototype
applications, even if pads with sizes of just 300µm could be contacted.
Together with introduction of the APT-8300 system the first use in medium
size production quantities started. But the real breakthrough came
together with the sales start of the APT-8400 and the APT-8400CE systems.
With these systems the integration even in fully automatic production line
was possible. Thanks to continues enhancements, the system developed from
the status of a MDA up to a state-of-the-art measurement platform. The APT
Series Flying Probe System earns very positive response because of the
high flexibility and robust electrical and mechanical concept within the
different application areas. The 1,500 sold systems are the evidence of
the market leadership of TAKAYAs Flying Probe Tester.
